Insoluble Soil |
Between 75% and 78% of the soil deposited
each day on every type of carpeting is not water soluble. Unfortunately, wet cleaning will not break down
this soil. The only truly effective method is to physically lift the dirt and debris from between the
fibers.
High quality walk-off mats at all entrances will divert much of the soil coming into the facility, but a
well-made vacuum cleaner is the ultimate answer to extracting the dry soil on a daily basis and extending
